This is a Lamborghini Centenario. It is a limited production sports car by Italian car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. It was based on the Lamborghini Aventador and was unveiled in 2016 in Geneva International Motor Show(GIMS) to commemorate the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini, who founded the company. It was also the model which showcased the advancements in the Lamborghini cars as many of the future models had many functions and features similar to this. It was the first Lamborghini equipped with a rear-wheel steering system which helps in maneuverability of the car at low speeds and tight spots and also increased the stability at high speeds. It was also equipped with the new infotainement system which is currently equipped in all the Lamborghini models manufactured after the Centenario. The has many new aerodynamics whose some parts would later be incorporated in the new Lamborghini models. The Centenario shown here is a Roadster which is different from a coupé by the convertible top. It has all the other functions same as that of a coupé.
The exterior is based on the Lamborghini Aventador. It uses a lot of carbon-fibre on the exterior for the weight reduction. The doors on this car are scissor doors as they open upwards. The front has a twin-deck splitter which helps in generating downforce and it works in conjunction with the side-blades. It has the largest rear-diffuser to be incorporated in a car and it works along with the twin-deck rear-wing aids to increase downforce. If you ever get a look at this car, you will notice that it has many vents and blades and all those are actually functional, none of these parts are fake. The front headlight assembly has similarity with the Aventador headlight assembly but it is different in the curve, shape and size. The rear tail-light is similar to the Huracán with the difference in size. The Centenario shown here is a Roadster version which means it's a convertible. It has reinforced chassis to keep in pace with the coupé version.
As you enter the car, you are greeted by a door-sill which says "Centenario" along with the Italian tricolor flag. It has a 10inch infotainement display and a digital guage cluster. All the features inside are similar to the other Lamborghini models specifically Aventador which came out after the Centenario. The interior had either leather upholstery or Alcantara upholstery mostly carried from the Aventador. The seats are race bucket seats which has a unigue design to it, along with carbon-fibre trims which includes carbon-fibre paddle shifts. For weight reduction most of the sound deadening materials were removed.
The Centenario is powered by a 6.5L V12 from Aventador with 7-speed ISR automated manual transmission generating 759HP at 8500rpm and 690Nm(509 lb-ft) of torque at 5500rpm. It went from 0-100km/h(0-62mph) in 2.8s and had a top speed of 350km/h(217mph). It had an all-wheel-drive drivetrain developed by Haldex. The suspension design used in this car is a push-rod system. The Centenario has three driving modes namely: 'Strada' for city driving, 'Sport' for performance driving, 'Corsa' for track driving. The car has 20in front wheels with 6-piston carbon-ceramic brakes with ventilated discs and 21in rear wheels with 4-piston carbon-ceramic brakes with ventilated discs.
