Overview

This is a Pagani Zonda Revolución. It is the updated version of the Pagani Zonda R. It was unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2012. It took many pieces and inspirations from the Zonda 760RS. It is the final version of the Zonda R, and was only unveiled to the clients and family members during the "Vanishing Point 2013", the International Pagani gathering. Originally five were planned to be made each priced at €2.2 million before taxes, but Pagani managed to complete one while others were regular R's with Revolución spec. The exterior of the car is finished in pearl-white color with exposed carbon-fibre on the nose. The bodywork is same as that of Zonda R with improved in aerodynamics.

Exterior

The exterior of the car as mentioned above is finished in pearl-white color with exposed carbon-fibre on the nose. The bodywork is the same as the Zonda R but with improved aerodynamics. On the front it features a bigger front splitter over the standard splitter and also a pair of small splitters on the sides of the rear bumper. It had a bigger central rear wing and a small spoiler below the standard Zonda R wing which improved the aerodynamics and increased downforce.

Interior

Inside it is a strip-down track-focused race car which has removable steering wheel, carbon-fibre and aluminium trims, etc.. The seats are race bucket seats which are grippy and holds you around corners. It has a Digitek instrumentation and telemetry to monitor various aspects of the car to show all the important vehicle informations and datas. For weight reductions it has a leather strap to close the door rather than door handle and the door panels are made up of carbon-fibre. It doesn't even have a proper window, instead it has a window panel with only a small part that can be opened manually. As for safety it has a 4-point harness and leather seats, racecar standard roll cage. The centre console is made up of aluminium/magnesium materials. It has as standard Hi-Fi and air-conditioning system as well.

Power and Output

The  Zonda Revolución  is a RWD Track Day Car powered by a 6L Mercedes-AMG V12, with 789HP at 8000rpm and 730Nm of torque at 5800rpm with a top speed of 217.48mph(350km/h) and 0-62mph(0-100km/h) in 2.6s. It has a Xtrac 672 6-speed transversal and sequential gearbox that changes gears in 20milliseconds. It has a 12-stage traction control developed by Bosch and the renewed ABS system allows the car to adapt to the driver's driving style. The Zonda Revolución also uses DRS (Drag Reduction System) on the rear wing. The rear wing changes between maximum and minimum down-force settings, at the occurrence of a lateral acceleration of 0.8 g and a minimum speed of 62mph (100 km/h). Holding down the DRS for more than 2s, the system would start working automatically according to the algorithms developed by engineers at Pagani during the development phase. The Brembo braking system adopts the new CCMR discs derived from F1 technology. The new discs reduce the weight by 15% and offer higher stiffness and lower operating temperature for extreme track use. This increases the life-span of the discs by 4 times, with no sign of fading and an overall increase in braking power.
